Larry Miller is a professor of Music Business at NYU Steinhardt and Executive Director of the Sony Audio Institute for Music Business and Technology. Music Business Association’s 2024 Music Business Educator of the Year. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on music entrepreneurship, music analytics, strategic marketing, global music management and the business structure of the music industry. Larry advises music and technology companies and their financial sponsors on music rights acquisitions and catalog valuation. He is founder, producer and host of the Musonomics podcast. Larry advises rights holders and music creators on public policy and litigation and has provided expert testimony before the United States Copyright Review Board (CRB) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Larry is a proud board member of the Newport Festivals Foundation and the Louis Armstrong House Museum. He is also a Clio Award winning voice-over actor.
