Dave Davis is Chief Content Officer at Protege, where Dave leads Protege’s content partnerships with respect to audiovisual media for generative AI. Protege acquired Calliope Networks in late 2024, where Dave was co-founder and CEO. Prior to Calliope Networks, Dave was a content distribution executive at 20th Century Fox, NBCUniversal, Paramount Pictures and MPLC. Dave began his career as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York, and as a corporate lawyer at Gunderson Dettmer in Silicon Valley. Dave holds a BA from Wesleyan University and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School. Dave sits on the Copyright Society’s AI sub-committee.
