Michelene is the Global Head of Sports & Music at Snowflake. In her role, Michelene has the privilege of working with Snowflake’s sports league/team, music label, media/streaming, sportsbook, ticketing, merchandising, and other customers to improve business outcomes using Snowflake’s industry-leading data collaboration and AI/ML capabilities. She also leads overall company strategy for the sports and music verticals. Prior to Snowflake Michelene held roles leading partnerships teams for some of the world’s most popular sports and music brands – where she focused on driving customer acquisition, engagement/retention, and revenue through product, content, and additional strategic deal types.
Michelene was a strategic/technical business development executive at Amazon, focused on Amazon Music, where she established AM’s partnerships with Disney, Tiktok, Meta, and NBA. Michelene has also served as the VP and Head of Strategic Business Development/Partnerships for Bleacher Report under Warner Bros. Discovery. Michelene joined Bleacher Report from Yahoo! Sports where she served as the Global Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships and closed the first ever NFL rights deal to distribute a live game exclusively via streaming, and the first ever deal to distribute personalized highlights from a major US sports league (NBA) leveraging AI. Michelene holds a Bilingual MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Communications from the University of California, San Diego.
