ASSISTANTS VS AGENTS (AVA)

Warner Bailey is the founder of Assistants vs. Agents (AvA), a media company shaping the future of the entertainment industry by building the network, access, and infrastructure for its next generation.

Bailey launched AvA while working as an assistant at WME, transforming a viral insider account into a platform spanning media, live events, education, workforce access, community, and technology. Through its newsletter, job board, campus network, original IP, talk show, and programming, AvA has become a trusted voice for emerging talent and a clear signal of where the entertainment business is headed.

Under Bailey’s leadership, AvA has partnered with companies including Netflix, Meta, Disney, Spotify, the Golden Globes, Shopify, Canon, Shopify, DoorDash, Amazon MGM Studios, Lionsgate, and Apple TV+, and has produced marquee industry events including festivals, conferences and the first award show honoring Hollywood assistants.

His work is rooted in a simple belief that the future of entertainment will be shaped by the systems, access, and relationships that power the industry behind the scenes. Bailey is a 3x founder, and is currently building technology focused on modernizing industry workflows while preserving the human layer at the center of creative work.

Bailey serves on the advisory board of Save The Music and previously spent time at WME & Live Nation. Originally from Philadelphia, he is a graduate of Georgetown University and is based in Los Angeles.
